p.s  thank you for the love you guys have been writing to me.  I truly appreciate it.  I got more photos to load, both from my mark iii and fuji x100.  Iphone shots gets thrown in the mix via instagram upload.  I’m trying my best to group these photos together because tumblr only allows 10 photos per post…i can always load them on nina-ly.com/blog but it will take too long.

first photo…i ordered fresh fruits for breakfast and they came out with a plate of lychee…hmm, that was not what I had in mind for fresh fruits.

We spent almost a whole day flying to the other side of the world.  We stopped over at Korea.  Asiana airline actually had bibimbap (traditional korean dish) on their menu.  When we go off to korea, the airport was modern to almost futuristic looking.  The walls and floor were shiny.  The A/C was blowing out super cold air.  There was free wifi, so I thought to myself wow, this is nice…it isn’t so bad over on this side of the world.  Then we hopped on the plane to our destination…hanoi, vietnam. As soon as we got off, the humidity and heat quickly occupied our minds.  At the airport, we had to wait on this long line in the crowded area without A/C or a portable fan.  I turned on my phone hoping to get wifi…there was none available.  No signal for phone service either.  We got to exchange US dollars for vietnamese money.  It goes by thousands…for example, 1$ is equivalent to about 20,000 vietnamese dollars or money.  So complicated?!  We got in a cab that ran by the meter.  It was recommended that we only use cabbies that run by the meter so we dont get ripped off.  Our cab ride from the airport to the hotel was about 50 mins long and it cost us a little less than 20$.  That’s so cheap.  20$ cab ride in new york will get you about a 15mins ride.  Wifi here at the hotel is not that great.  Sometimes it picks up sometimes it doesn’t.  >.< why?!? Photos above are all taken with the fuji x100. I’m having trouble upload photos off my mark iii onto my laptop.  Updating my softwares now.  Hopefully it works.
